Jose Manuel Saiñas, 76 of Harrison passed away on March 19, 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Jose at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday March 21 from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place in Spain.
Born in Spain, Jose has been a Harrison resident since 1974. He was a lashman with ILA Local 1804 at Port Newark for 35 years until his retirement in 2009. Jose was an avid soccer fan, and enjoyed coin collecting. A talented handyman, he was an expert carpenter who could fix just about anything. Jose had a wonderful sense of humor, and could tell jokes like no one else could. Above all, Jose cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Jose was the beloved husband of Mari Carmen; loving father of Ana Fernandez and her husband Vicente, Carolina Sanisidro and her husband Juan and Manny Saiñas and his wife Yamilet; dear grandfather of Vincent, Sara, Raquel, Sofia and Mayra, and brother of Aida Saiñas and her husband Julio. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.
