Atilio Herrera, 95 of Belleville passed away on March 21, 2024.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Atilio at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Saturday March 23 from 2-4 PM, with a funeral service being held at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Chiclayo, Peru, Atilio has lived in Belleville for 20 years. He served in the Peruvian Air Force as a mechanic,. and later worked as an auto mechanic for many years prior to his retirement. Atilio had a great sense of humor, and a heart of gold. He most cherished time spent with his loving family.
Atilio was the beloved husband of Mercedes Herrera; loving father of Carmen, Maria, Orlando, Marco, Miguel, and the late Jorge Luis. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
