It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Montgomery Wilkinson on October 23, 2025, at home, and surrounded by her family.
Pat, as she is affectionately known, was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith, whose presence touched the hearts of all who knew her. During difficult times, she remained a pillar of strength, always reminding all who knew her of the power of love, patience, and hope. Her faith was a source of comfort, and she shared it freely and widely with others, always inspiring others to walk through life with kindness, respect, and dignity.
Pat was a consummate professional manager with various pharmaceutical organizations (Celgene Bio-Pharmaceuticals, LEO Pharma, Genpact Pharmalink, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)) over a 20 year period. In her role as an executive assistant, she performed duties that impacted the organization’s success as a strategic partner to senior leadership. Her role involved more than just clerical support, often including project management, decision-making, and managing confidential information, which are key managerial responsibilities.
Pat had many passions and they included travel, reading, dancing, cooking, cats, and living a suburban lifestyle. Yet, one of her greatest joys was being a grandmother and holding her grandchild for the first time. It brought Pat tears of joy! Cooking is Pat’s love language and Alberta Blue Catering was just perfect to nurture relationships and create connections. She puts her heart and soul into the process. A personal touch to bring joy to all.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Charles E. Wilkinson; her children, Jerrell Mann (Diamond), Richmond, VA; Terrell Mann, Newark, NJ; Devin Montgomery, Las Vegas, Nevada; and one grandchild, Ashir Saint Brown Mann. She leaves behind her beloved siblings Diane Reynolds, Newark, NJ; Earlene Wall, Columbus, Ohio; Odessa R. Ashely, Birmingham, AL; nieces, nephews, and a loving network of extended family and friends - who will forever cherish her memory.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. Visitation will also take place on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 149 Springfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey.
