Eileen Kealy (nee O’Keeffe) 88 of Kearny passed away on November 25, 2025. Born in Dublin Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Josephine and Jack O’Keeffe. Eileen eventually settled in Kearny, N.J, where she was a lifelong resident. Eileen then married her beloved husband, the late Peter Kealy. She worked at West Hudson Hospital for many years. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St Stephens Church in Kearny.
Eileen enjoyed reading, gardening, and her occasional trips back to Ireland. She is survived by her beloved children Sharon Ferrao (Manny) and David Kealy (Angela). Sisters Breda, Olive, Jennifer, and Patricia. Her adoring grandchildren, Victoria, Amanda, Alex and Nicholas.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter, brothers Desi, Gerard, John and Donald and sister Maureen.
Visiting will be at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr., Kearny on Monday from 4 - 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny at 10 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
