Richard F. Donato, of Kearny, passed away on December 17, 2025. Visiting will be Friday December 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at All Saints at Bethany Church, 262 Joralemon Street in Belleville. There will be a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Rich owned Arlington Jewelers in North Arlington and prior he taught English at Queen of Peace High School, both in North Arlington.
Rich was the devoted and loving husband of Joan (nee Tavernese) and cherished his son The Reverand Rick Donato who will officate his Dad’s funeral.
