Audrey Marion Incitti

Audrey Marion Incitti (nee Hopkins) passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family on December 18, 2025. She was 90. She lived most of her life in Kearny before moving to Toms River 20 years ago . She loved to winter in Jupiter, FL. 

Audrey had a private cremation but there will be a celebration of her life service during this coming summer. Date and location will be scheduled in the near future.

Audrey was formally married to the late Joseph Incitti and was the loving mother of Julie Butrymowicz (her husband Billy), Paula Cavalier (her companion Perry) and the late Joseph and Glenn Incittti. Sister of the late James Hopkins, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Billy Butrymowicz, Jr. (his wife Adrienne), Kyle Butrymowicz (his wife Erin), Michael Cavalier (his wife Monica) and Jessica Cavalier along with her great grandchildren; William, Beau, Nina, Charlie, Luke and Wes Glenn . 

Audrey was a devout Christian devoted to The secular Order of Franciscans. She was very generous and passionate about helping others. She volunteered  for Hospice for over 20 years , The Suicide Prevention Hot Line and The Barbara Bush  literacy Program. She worked at The Kearny Branch and Irvington Public Libraries for many years. She was a cub scout , brownie and Girl Scout leader . An avid reader and member of many book clubs . Gardener and Lover of music. Red hat society  member and organizer of many  KHS class reunions for the class of 1953. For over 40 years she was a member of the flying angels who attended  religious retreats at St Alphonso’s retreat house in Long Branch . 

Throughout her 90 remarkable years on earth, each one of us was championed by her  unwavering support and radiant presence. May her light continue to shine in every person she’s  touched.
