John Clifford, 77, died at home peacefully on January 17, 2026. He was born December 25, 1948 to John and Jennie Clifford in Newark, NJ, and lived most of his life in Kearny, NJ.
He is survived by his children, John and his wife Gina Clifford, and Michael Clifford; one granddaughter, Lucia, and one grandson, John; his brother, Bill; and former wife, Laraine (Logan) Clifford.
He served in the Air Force from 1968 - 1970 and worked at Wilkata Packaging Corp. in Kearny for 33 years.
John loved the outdoors and would spend as much time in nature as he could. He was a charter member of Oswego Fishing Club and enjoyed going on their many fishing and camping trips over the years.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many.
Arrangements by the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr, Kearny. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
