John A. Rizzolo passed away on January 21, 2026. He was 83. Born in Newark he lived many years in North Arlington and Kearny. Visiting will be on Saturday January 24, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. His service will be at 2:30 p.m. and cremation will be private.
John was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (nee Battista) and currently Joann (nee Cataldo). Father of Lucille M. Rizzolo, Johnny F. Rizzolo, Joseph A. Rizzolo (Jennie), Michael L. Rizzolo and the late Gerard Rizzolo. Brother of Joan Cesareo (Anthony) and grandfather of; Nicholas (Christina) and Joey. He was also survived by his step children; Cathy (Joel), Sarah and Tommy.
