William V. Delaney “Billy” passed away on April 23, 2026. He was 72. Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Arlington before moving to Myrtle Beach, S.C. 20 years ago. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at The Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny on Monday May 4th at 10:00 a.m. Then we will go to Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington for an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Mass with Billy’s ashes present. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Billy was the son of the late Jack and Eleanor (nee Dolan) Delaney and brother of the late Jack Delaney. He is survived by his nieces Heather, Delaney and Danielle Martinez (her husband Jose), his great-niece Julianna along with the Corbett and Moran cousins and their families.
