Elsa Munoz passed away on June 8, 2026. She was 91. Born in Cuba, she lived in Kearny since 1981. Visiting will be on Thursday June 11 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Mass Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilias Church and entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Elsa was the wife of the late Leonardo and mother of Elsie Mera and Manuel Munoz. Sister of Esther Gomez Diaz, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Manny, Leo, Stephanie, Melissa and Megan along with her great grandchildren; Rafa, Sammy, Santi, Adrian, Amara, Sienna and Timmy.
