Alan A. West passed away on June 6,2026. He was 64. Born in Glasgow, Scotland he lived in Kearny before moving to Denville 12 years ago. Visiting will be on Friday June 12, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Private cremation will follow.
Alan was the son of the late Adam and Colina West. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Donnelly), he was also the loving father of Kyle, Rachel and Adam West and Michael Brown (his wife Nicole). Cherished brother of Colin West (his wife Aimee) He also leaves his dear grandchildren; Jojo, Wesley and Sloanne.
Alan was a retired Sergeant from The N.J. Transit Police and was member of The Newark chapter of The Blue Knights. He was a Second Degree Black Belt in Marshall Arts and was an avid fan of The Washington Redskins and Manchester United.
