Catherine (née Carchidi) Jennings
Cathy Jennings, Kearny, NJ, passed away with her daughters Judy and Cindy at her side, on November 23, 2015. She was 86 years old. Cathy was pre deceased by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Jennings; and two sisters: Josephine (Ted) Kreder, and Gloria Jennings.
She is survived by three daughters: Judy ( Doug DuBose), Kearny, NJ; Cindy (Bob) Pennington, Melbourne Beach, Florida; and Mary (Paul) Amorella, Tampa, FL. Two grandchildren survive Cathy: Cori Currier, San Francisco, CA and Michael Amorella, Tampa, FL. She is survived by one sister, Terri (Alex) Fernandez, Fair Haven, NJ, and one brother-in-law, Tom Jennings, Piscataway, NJ. Many beloved nieces and nephews survive Cathy. Cathy was employed ten years by Economy Bookbinding Co. and twenty-five years by Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co., Newark, NJ. She enjoyed bingo, card games, reading, and visits to the Pennsylvania countryside. She will be missed.
Arrangements are by Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ. Visitation hours are from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015. A mass will be held at 10 am. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Cecelia's Church, 120 Kearny Ave., Kearny, NJ, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ.
