Linda C. Salisbury (nee Floyd), 71 of Belvidere, formerly of Kearny passed away on January 22, 2020.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Linda at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Monday from 3-7 PM; with a funeral service being celebrated at 6 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Kearny, Linda was a lifelong resident before moving to Belvidere two years ago. A member of the C.W.A., Linda worked as a secretary for Bell Atlantic for many years until retiring in 2002. Linda also held a position as a teacher’s aide at Washington School and at Garfield School in Kearny for many years; she held this job near to her heart. Linda enjoyed making arts and crafts, and especially treasured time spent with her grandbabies.
Linda was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Salisbury; loving mother of Lori Brunelle and her husband Raymond, Roberta Salisbury and Douglas Salisbury and his wife Lucia; dear step-mother of Richard Salisbury, Jr., Patricia Stone, Arthur Salisbury and his wife Jodi, and Duane Salisbury and his wife Kim; cherished sister of Leland C. Floyd, Jr. and his wife Mary, Richard Floyd, Sarah Covey, Donald Floyd and Diane Hammond and her husband Richard. She is also survived by her many loving grandbabies and by many dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
