George J. Rice, 90 of Harrison passed away on January 29, 2022.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 3rd at Holy Cross Church in Harrison at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
Born in Newark, George lived in North Arlington until moving to Harrison many years ago. He was an iron worker for Local #11 in Bloomfield for many years until his retirement. George was a devout and faithful parishioner of Holy Cross Church in Harrison and St. Stephen’’s Church in Kearny. A kind and generous man, he was a proud father who was always there for his children.
George was the beloved husband of Anne (nee McLaughlin) Rice; loving father of Carol Ann Tabor and the late George D. Rice; cherished grandfather of Korrine, Kristy and Kate; and adoring great-grandfather of Jaxon, Lily, Nola and Devin.
